Cat6


Category - 6 or Cat6 and commonly known as RJ-45 is a standard cable used for Gigabit Ethernet with performance capable of 10base T - 1000baseT. Under the ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B, Cat 6 is allowed to a maximum length of 100 meters or 328 feet horizontal run. CAT6 cable is widely used for home and office networking offering better performance than it's older version Cat 5/Cat5e.It is more expensive than cat 5 and available in varying lengths upon purchase.
