Nowadays you can't find a store without a security camera installed to ensure that everyone that walks in and out is monitored. The risk of thief is high especially in high traffic stores and if manpower is limited it is good to have security cameras to watch those culprits. Security cameras can be recorded and played back over and over again to get a glimpse of the people who steal. This is also used as an evidence in any crime that took place in that vicinity.
