I love changing colors and themes in my living room. I do this by changing sofa, couch and futon covers every season. I sew my own covers or buy covers on slip cover shop online. Once the slips covers are changed, I put cushions that matches and compliment its color. I love earth tones colors as it is not so bright and you can balance it with any decors on the wall. Decorating your living room can be fun and best of all it is not boring especially if you changed the slip covers often.
