Pinoys at this time of catastrope

The recent typhoon brought in tremendous devastation in the already economically depressed Philippines. The joyful Christmas season become an agonizing time for some people who did not only lost their homes but lost their loved ones. Hundreds died and dozens missing after the gushing Typhoon Washi without warnings flooded the homes and swept people while sleeping Friday and early Saturday. This disaster choked the cities in the Cagayan de Oro, Iligan City and the neighboring areas by surprise with no chance to escape. The coastal regions were mostly affected and floods washed away entire villages with families inside. It is sad to hear that someone who planned to celebrate Christmas with family will not be celebrating it no more after this catastropy.
