This new addition to the GMA Drama Series debuted on November 11, 2008. The original version (1983) was a big hit movie. This TV series is a family story and a drama about a family longing to have another son and resorted to adoption. Their source of joy becomes the cause of all their grief. The joy of adapting a new member of the family in the person of a Joel become sour when a tragedy struck the family. The drowning of his adaptive father was blamed after Joel, being the reason why this misfortune happened. The mother's great affection for a son turned hostile and she suffered a breakdown. The elder adaptive sister Shane is burdened with all misfortunes that happened to her family and she is compelled to return Joel back to the orphanage. This is a tough choice but will she take the hurdle and bring back the family back together again?
