Cleaning up your furnace filters on a regular basis does not only clean up air but helps reduce your electric bills and maximizes your furnace's efficiency and extends longevity. Keeping a log book of the dates that you did the filter change is important. It is also good to include the things you bought, replaced and repairs in your furnace for history in case a technician comes up and do some works on it.
